To enable our chapter to move to the next level, we need members to step up to the challenge and assume leadership roles. The goal is to have a skill-based executive committee that will continue to lead AAHGS–DC into the future.
Three (3) Executive Committee positions are up for election for a 2-year term during the 2022 Election Year.
President - primary face of AAHGS-DC; glue that holds AAHGS-DC together; and ensures implementation of AAHGS-DC mission and goals.
Vice President - assumes the duties of the President in the absence of the President.
Recording Secretary - is the recording officer of the organization and the custodian of its records with the exception of the Treasurer’s books.
Corresponding Secretary - manages and/or coordinates a response to all correspondence/materials for AAHGS-DC.
Treasurer - entrusted with the management of the financial affairs and custody of the funds for AAHGS-DC.
