I love FamilySearch but often my research leads me to a record that can only be viewed while physically in one of the Family History Libraries. This was frustrating, especially if I was on a genealogical research roll, but now there is another option.
Researchers can now us a new and free lookup service where staff and volunteers at the library will look up specific records in their collections that cannot be viewed online. Since "Library Lookup" is not a research service, people will need to identify the specific record from FamilySearch.org that they need to see.
For more information, check out the Library's Blog post announcement.
Happy Research All!!
